“I think it’s pretty clear why I’m here,” Zayas stated confidently. “Sebastian Fundora is who I’m aiming for. I’m the top contender at the WBO, and I’m set on claiming those titles. Fundora’s got no other choice—either he fights me or gives up the belt. If he vacates, I’ll take on whoever is next in line. It really doesn’t matter who it is, but my sights are on Fundora.”
When asked about concerns that he might be rushing into a challenge he’s not ready for, Zayas responded with self-assurance.
“I feel like everyone encounters doubters at some point, people who aren’t convinced. But I believe in myself, my team believes in me, and we know what we’re capable of inside that ring. When the opportunity comes to face Fundora, we’re going to put on a show.”
