Yesterday, the Golden State Warriors solidified their roster by re-signing forward Kevin Knox II for another 10-day stint.
Knox, who is 25 years old, proved his potential in the three games he played with the Warriors during his first brief contract from February 19 through February 28. In those matchups, he managed to average 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists, despite only being on the court for an average of 8.2 minutes each game. Standing at 6’7”, Knox has also made a significant impact in his time with the Santa Cruz team this season. In 28 games there, he has posted impressive stats with an average of 21.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists over 32.6 minutes per game. His performance was particularly noteworthy in the opening week of the regular season when he earned the NBA G League Player of the Week honors for his remarkable play from December 27 to January 5.
