In the early hours at 2:30 am ET, fans in Australia can catch the showdown between Keith Thurman and Brock Jarvis on pay-per-view through Kayo Sports. Unfortunately, for fans tuning in from the UK or the USA, that streaming option won’t be available. For those newer to the boxing scene, Keith Thurman was once a vibrant, top-tier welterweight whose career hit a speed bump due to hand and arm injuries. He’s stepping back into the ring for only the fourth time in eight years, and it’s been three years since his last fight. Everything is set to go, but given Thurman’s history, especially with last-minute cancellations against Australians, it feels like a touch-and-go situation until he’s actually in the ring. Brock Jarvis, on the other hand, has proven himself a solid contender in the domestic arena, although he’s fought in lighter weight classes. While a prime Thurman would likely have made quick work of Jarvis, it’s uncertain how his hands will hold up now. I’d be waking up early for this one, too, though it’s wise not to expect any major broadcasting deals, given Thurman’s unreliable track record since 2017, and the potential for him to pull out at the last moment. His name might ring a bell, but with his history of injuries, it’s a gamble on whether he’ll make it through the ring walk unscathed.

At 4:00 am ET on ESPN+, there’s an excellent early morning lineup featuring Kenshiro Teraji against Seigo Yuri Akui. Teraji takes the headlining spot, but don’t overlook Anthony Olascuaga battling Hiroto Kyoguchi, and Shokichi Iwata squaring off with Rene Santiago, both contests for world titles. Considering the early kickoff, it’s likely these three bouts, plus maybe another, will be featured on the ESPN+ broadcast. Black Lotus Herald (BLH) will provide live updates, keeping fans in the loop.

Over on DAZN at 3:00 pm ET, we have Blockone Sports bringing action from Liverpool. The main attraction is Bryan Collins vs. Will Harrison battling for the BBBoC Central Area Welterweight title, which currently has no owner. Shannon Courtenay also makes her return after nearly two years out, trying to gain traction with a six-round fight against the seasoned Bec “Lady Luck” Connolly. With Connolly (3-21, 0 KO) on a challenging five-year, 15-fight losing streak, this might be Courtenay’s chance to bounce back.
Later in the evening at 8:00 pm ET on DAZN, we switch to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for Ring Wars 16. In the spotlight is Euri Cedeno vs. Ulices Rivera, with appearances by Joseph Adorno and former Top Rank fighter Bryce Mills in the undercard line-up.
Saturday, March 15th
Come Saturday, DAZN serves up a card at 2:30 pm ET featuring Nick Ball vs. TJ Doheny in a “Hard Days Night” event out of Liverpool, courtesy of Queensberry. A lost opportunity, perhaps, for Frank Warren not to brand it as “The Fab Five.” Ball is defending his WBA title for the second time, while Doheny is coming off his September match against Naoya Inoue. It’s been a whirlwind half-year for Doheny! Other significant bouts include Andrew Cain vs. Charlie Edwards and Brad Strand vs. Ionut Baluta. Leighton and William Birchall are making professional debuts, looking to replicate the early successes of their brother Nelson Birchall, who is also signed with Queensberry. As always, BLH will be providing live updates to keep fans engaged.
Later in the day at 6:30 pm ET, DAZN takes us to Orlando for a Matchroom event where Ammo Williams squares off with Patrice Volny. Williams has only one loss, courtesy of Hamzah Sheeraz, and Volny brings his unique flair at 35 years old, sporting a standout hairstyle and full beard. Supporting fights feature Edgar Berlanga and Jamaine Ortiz, and 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Omari Jones steps into the pro arena for the first time. BLH won’t miss a beat with continuous live updates.
Finally, at 10:00 pm ET, DAZN showcases Marvnation Boxing. Headlining is Amado Vargas, son of boxing legend Fernando Vargas, in an eight-round bout. Is he the standout among the Vargas offspring? His online presence seems to highlight his role as a “content creator” before a “boxer,” so opinions might vary. Is this matchup significant? Hard to tell, especially since Amado already has another fight lined up in just over a month. Also featuring are Lawrence King and Nathan Rodriguez in support roles.
