The stage is all set for the Professional Fighters League’s fresh and exciting tournament format to take off.
On Wednesday, at the weigh-ins, there was a slight shake-up in the fighter line-up. Magomed Umalatov, poised for his initial bout against Logan Storley, tipped the scales at 173.6 pounds, which was over the welterweight limit by more than two pounds. Due to this, Umalatov will step aside, with Joseph Luciano stepping in as his replacement. Luciano came in on point at 170.4 pounds, fitting snugly into the welterweight class. Meanwhile, the rest of the fighters made their weight without a hitch.
