Paul George recently shared that he’s hitting pause on his podcast until the end of the basketball season. Now, in his debut season with the Philadelphia 76ers, he joined the team after inking a whopping four-year, $212 million contract, leaving behind the Los Angeles Clippers.
“This season’s been, well, unpredictable so far,” George remarked. “When I first came aboard with Philly, my dream was to bring a championship to these incredible fans. That goal hasn’t changed, and I’m staying optimistic. But right now, I need to tell the Podcast P crew that after today’s episode with Dwight [Howard], I’m stepping back from the podcast. I need to concentrate on getting physically and mentally prepared to help this team strive towards our championship ambitions.”
He continued, “I won’t lie—I’m really missing the in-person podcast sessions with my guys. That’s a big reason for this break. I can’t wait for the three of us to get back to doing what we love. We’ve got exciting plans on the horizon, so make sure to stick around. Until then, take care, everyone. From all of us at Podcast P—sending love and peace your way.”
