Cam Thomas, the Brooklyn Nets guard, has unfortunately suffered a left hamstring strain during Thursday night’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls. Considering the few games left in the season and the recovery time required for such an injury, it seems likely that Thomas will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Throughout the 25 games he’s played this season, Thomas has been quite a standout, averaging 24.0 points, along with 3.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists over 31.2 minutes each game. At just 23, he’s already led the team with six impressive 30-point games. His highlight was perhaps on November 15th, when he dazzled with a season-high 43 points during their game against New York. Additionally, Thomas achieved his first career double-double against Chicago on March 13th, contributing 24 points, pulling down six rebounds, and dishing out a career-best 10 assists in 32 minutes.
