Today, the Memphis Grizzlies have announced that Tuomas Iisalo will step into the role of interim head coach for the rest of the 2024-25 season. Iisalo initially joined the Grizzlies as the lead assistant coach just before this season commenced. Before joining the NBA, he built a solid coaching career in Europe. Most recently, he was at the helm of Paris Basketball during the 2023-24 season. Before that, he spent a couple of years with Telekom Baskets Bonn from 2021 to 2023 and led the Crailsheim Merlins from 2016 to 2021.
