As the excitement builds for F1 75 Live at The O2, just a day before the big event, Formula 1 has divulged more details about the much-anticipated show featuring the unveiling of the 2025 car liveries from all ten teams.
Last November, Formula 1 made waves by announcing this first-ever season launch event at London’s iconic The O2 arena. It promises to be a spectacular evening where every team gets to display their fresh new liveries in celebration of the sport’s 75th anniversary.
This historic gathering will see all ten F1 teams—Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Haas, Kick Sauber, McLaren, Mercedes, Racing Bulls, Red Bull, and Williams—along with their drivers and Team Principals, unite with fans for an evening filled with excitement. Mark your calendars: it all kicks off on February 18, 2025, from 8 PM to 10 PM.
The mastermind behind this event is Brian Burke and his team at BrianBurkeCreative, in collaboration with the imaginative minds at Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design, and the production gurus at 1826. Known for orchestrating last year’s spectacular opening and closing ceremonies at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Burke’s creative prowess is well-established. With an International Emmy nomination under his belt, he’s been behind global music tours and live television spectacles that have captivated audiences worldwide.
Taking the stage as host will be comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, lending his charm to the proceedings. He won’t be alone, though—joining him are F1TV’s Laura Winter, Ariana Bravo, and Lawrence Barretto, promising a lively and familiar vibe to the event. The night is set to rock, with performances by US country star Kane Brown, the dynamic mgk, a special performance titled “Are We Dreaming” by composer Brian Tyler, and the legendary British band Take That.
Adding some musical flair, Take That, who’ve amassed a staggering eight BRIT Awards and sold over 45 million records, are set to electrify the crowd. Kane Brown, celebrated for topping all five major Billboard country charts simultaneously, will bring his trailblazing sound to the show. Meanwhile, mgk, known for his explosive style that fuses rap, rock, and pop, continues to dominate the charts with back-to-back number one albums. Fans will also experience the unique soundscape of Brian Tyler’s “Are We Dreaming,” offering an immersive blend of audio and visuals that echoes the thrill of a live F1 race.
Enthusiastically expressing his involvement, Jack Whitehall shared, “The moment I heard about F1 75 Live at The O2, I knew it was something I had to be a part of. It’s shaping up to be a one-of-a-kind show, merging the allure of Formula 1 with phenomenal global music talent to mark 75 years of our beloved sport. I’m eager to hit the stage and share the magic with both the audience at The O2 and fans around the world!”
