Friday’s NFL Scouting Combine spotlight was undoubtedly on South Carolina’s safety, Nick Emmanwori. His standout performance not only impressed, but when coupled with his stats, it’s likely to send scouts and general managers into a frenzy about his future potential.
Emmanwori stood tall at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, and he didn’t just stop there—he excelled in his individual workouts as well.
His athletic prowess was on full display with a jaw-dropping 43-inch vertical leap and an 11-foot-6 broad jump, both of which currently top this year’s combine records.
To add to his accolades, no defensive back of his size has achieved such a jump at the combine since 2017. In fact, his vertical jump made history on its own.
