The Michigan football scene is probably hoping Connor Stalions keeps their name out of his conversations from now on.
Caught at the heart of a sign-stealing scandal, Stalions found himself tangled in a significant NCAA investigation. The uproar eventually led to his resignation from Jim Harbaugh’s staff, and he’s since been channeling his coaching energy into high school football.
Despite the setbacks, Stalions hasn’t lost sight of his ultimate dream—the storied Big House. In a recent chat with J.D. Pickell of On3, he shared his aspiration of one day stepping up as Michigan’s head coach.
When asked if leading the Wolverines was the “north star” guiding his coaching journey, Stalions didn’t hesitate.
“Absolutely,” he responded confidently. “I’ll wait as long as it takes. Whenever the time is right.”
