UFC featherweight fighter Bryce Mitchell recently attracted international attention with his comments about Adolf Hitler. During a chat on the MMA Guru podcast, Mitchell criticized the media while expressing pride in his German roots.
In the interview, Mitchell got candid, saying, “I embrace my German heritage without fear. Now, I’m not saying Hitler was without fault, not at all. But there’s more to our history than what you’re taught at school, and I’m not shy about discussing my people’s past.”
He continued by adding, “Sure, Hitler did some incredibly stupid things. Invading Russia during winter? How much dumber can it get? You get what I’m saying. But look, I’ve never harmed anyone. I’ve never spread hate. You won’t find any evidence of me doing so. Anyone wanting to challenge me can try, but they’ll need a notebook to keep up with everything I have to share. There’s just too much to absorb in one go.”
Mitchell also expressed his frustration with how people label him, saying, “People throw terms like ‘inbred’ and ‘retarded’ at me. It’s absurd and false, and we can scientifically prove it. But when I calmly talk about my German background, suddenly I’m painted as evil.”
He didn’t hold back when addressing the media, especially those in the MMA sphere, for their portrayal of his controversial remarks.
“The so-called journalists can go to hell. They aren’t journalists—they’re just entertainers at best. They’re gutless, bought and paid for, too afraid to invite me on their shows or face me because they lack the courage. When you have no guts, you’re just a coward, and that’s all they are. I couldn’t care less about their opinions. I know the truth about my history,” Mitchell declared confidently. “Yet again, I emphasize, I’ve never harbored hate for any group, and I never will. You won’t hear me speaking that way. I’m genuine, unlike those spineless, deceptive b*stards.”
Finally, Mitchell reflected on the journalists who criticize him. “None of these cowards in the media will face me in debate because they know what they are. They’re far from being true journalists. They’ve sold out and are compliant with higher powers. I won’t conform; I speak the truth.”
