When spring rolls around, it marks the exciting return of the American hard-court tennis season. This year, the renowned equipment brand Babolat decided to bring an extra touch of inspiration to the Palisades High School tennis team by inviting them to the Tennis Paradise event.
Recently, on Friday, March 8th, over 50 dedicated tennis players and their coaches from Palisades High School, which was unfortunately affected by the recent LA fires, were welcomed with open arms at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Babolat, known for its commitment to the sport, generously donated racquets and shoes to the team. But the highlight of the day? The students had the unique opportunity to participate in a special clinic held right on the same courts where tennis legends compete.
Among the day’s festivities, Laurent Van Hoestenberghe, Babolat’s Client Relations Officer, expressed the brand’s enthusiasm: “It was a fantastic day. We invited the team to experience practice drills on the celebrated courts of Indian Wells, immersing them in the incredible atmosphere. All the players returned home with new Babolat gear – shoes, racquets, strings, and bags – everything they need to keep playing the sport they cherish.”
This generous gesture is part of Babolat’s broader initiative to nurture future talents in tennis, celebrating a milestone of 150 years of youth, passion, and innovation.
