In an interesting move reported by Marc Stein from The Stein Line, Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II, and Daniel Gafford are heading to the Texas Legends to practice in the G League.
Davis is set to dive into full 5-on-5 scrimmages, while Lively and Gafford will be working in a more intimate 3-on-3 setup. The buzz around Davis indicates he’s pretty eager to make his way back to the Mavericks lineup this season.
Despite Davis’s optimism, coach Jason Kidd mentioned just this week that it might still be a little while before we see Davis back in action.
