Combate Global is stepping into a new chapter with an exciting shift in their live broadcasts to YouTube. They’re kicking off this change with an all-female fight card, bringing a fresh energy to their lineup.
Scheduled for March 13, 2025, “Combate Female” will showcase six thrilling fights at the renowned TelevisaUnivision Studio in sunny Miami, Florida. While it’s not their first foray into an all-female event, this card marks a significant move for the organization. The last time they did this was back in June, featuring strawweights Melissa Amaya and Samantha Jean-Francois as the main event headliners.
Combate Global has a history of nurturing talents who have gone on to make a name for themselves in the UFC, including the likes of John Castaneda, Melissa Martinez, and Gustavo Lopez.
Late last month, promotion officials made the exciting announcement via a press release. Campbell McLaren, the CEO of COMBATE GLOBAL and UFC co-founder, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with YouTube. “With YouTube in our corner as it grows its interest in live sports, Combate Global will be able to fulfill its mission of delivering ‘Much More Action’ to a global Spanish-speaking audience via the biggest streaming video platform on the planet,” he stated in the press release. “Combate Global couldn’t ask for a better partner than YouTube as we launch full speed into the future and spearhead the rapid growth and engagement of our live audiences.”
For the upcoming event, the current matchups on the Combate Female card are as follows:
– Maritza Sanchez vs. Kate Bacik
– Janet Garcia vs. Nicole Geraldo
– Kenia Enriquez vs. Hayley Valentine
– Yazmin Najera vs. Wiktoria Wojciechowska
– Sayury Canon vs. Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc
– Sharon Martinez vs. Claudia Pizarro
This lineup promises to deliver high-octane action and plenty of excitement for fight fans everywhere.
