Deion Sanders is renowned for his strong support and commitment to his players, arguably more so than most coaches. This unwavering loyalty is especially evident when it comes to Travis Hunter and his own son, Shedeur Sanders.
On Friday, Colorado hosted a showcase, providing their players an opportunity to demonstrate their talents in front of NFL scouts. Although neither Hunter nor Shedeur participated in the full array of testing, Hunter did take part in running some routes. Deion, who has been coaching both athletes since their tenure at Jackson State, is confident in their future success in the NFL.
He expressed his confidence by saying, “I believe we have the most qualified guys entering this draft. They’re not risks. Shedeur has consistently performed year after year. And there’s simply no one like Travis. When it comes to the safest bets in this draft world, and I’m not one to gamble — I follow a higher power — those two young men are it.”
