This weekend, the UFC is bringing the excitement of the Octagon to London, England, with the action-packed UFC Fight Night featuring a clash between Leon Edwards and Sean Brady at the O2 Arena.
Leading the night’s lineup is Leon Edwards, a former welterweight champion, squaring off against the formidable fifth-ranked Sean Brady. Edwards, sporting a record of 22-4 with one no contest, is eager to reclaim his glory after losing the welterweight title to Belal Muhammad last July. That defeat marked Edwards’ first loss in a decade, so he’s undoubtedly looking to make a strong comeback and edge closer to another title shot.
Sean Brady, on the other hand, comes into the fight with an impressive 17-1 record. He’s currently on a two-fight winning streak, and his only setback was against none other than champion Muhammad. Should Brady take down Edwards, he could find himself next in line for a title fight.
The fighters took to the scales for the official weigh-in on Friday morning, setting the stage for the ceremonial weigh-in later at 2 p.m. ET.
