Every year, as the NFL Draft approaches, we keep a close eye on where the Pittsburgh Steelers send their coaches, scouts, and personnel during Pro Days. This year is no exception, as we meticulously track their journey leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft. Our goal is to be as comprehensive as possible in identifying who attends each Pro Day, recognizing that some visits may carry more weight than others.

Pro Days
March 4
At Indiana, Scouting Coordinator Casey Weidl attended to evaluate prospects such as DL CJ West, QB Kurtis Rourke, and OT Trey Wedig.
March 5
No notable presence was at Purdue, but prospects like OL Marcus Mbow, C Gus Hartwig, and QB Hudson Card were the ones to watch.
March 7
Area Scout Jim Ward was at Wisconsin where notable prospects included S Hunter Wohler, LB Jake Chaney, and CB RJ Delancy III, among others. Meanwhile, nobody represented the team at East Texas A&M, despite DB Kendall Paul and DB King Ambers being noteworthy prospects there.
March 10
Georgia Southern saw Scouting Intern Keaton Hunt in attendance, scouting players like WR Derwin Burgess Jr., RB Jalen White, and K Gavin Stewart. Over in Washington, Area Scout Mark Bruener looked at talents such as ILB Carson Bruener and TE Keleki Latu.
March 11
For Kentucky, Assistant Director of Player Scouting Max Gruder was there to assess NT Deone Walker and CB Maxwell Hairston, among others. Meanwhile, both WRs Coach Zach Azzanni and Area Scout Jarrod Highberger were at Tennessee, checking out promising players like WR Dont’e Thornton and EDGE James Pearce Jr. In Michigan, Senior Personnel Assistant Quentin Harris caught talents like RB Marion Dukes and DL Jason Williams at Central Michigan, although no representative was present at Western Michigan where players like CB Bilhal Kone were featured.
March 12
In Georgia, a robust group including HC Mike Tomlin, OC Arthur Smith, and DC Teryl Austin evaluated prospects such as LB Jalon Walker. At USC, Director of Player Scouting Mark Sadowski assessed RB Woody Marks and other talents. Quentin Harris also attended Michigan State’s Pro Day, where names like DL Khris Bogle stood out. Despite no presence at Eastern Kentucky, prospects like DB Mike Smith Jr. were noted. Lastly, at Rutgers, Area Scout Jimmy Noel evaluated RB Kyle Monangai and others.
March 13
Clemson attracted notable attention with HC Mike Tomlin and others present to scout players like RB Phil Mafah. Area Scout Chidi Iwuoma was at Fresno State, where talents such as WR Mac Dalena were highlighted.
March 14
VP of Player Personnel Dan Rooney represented the Steelers at Georgia Tech to observe DT Zeek Biggers and others. At Delaware, Area Scout Jimmy Noel was on hand to look at RB Marcus Yarns.
March 17
Area Scout Chris Watts was in Arkansas checking out prospects like EDGE Landon Jackson. At Oregon State, Senior Scouting Assistant Kelvin Fisher looked at players such as OG/C Joshua Gray. Lastly, Director of Player Scouting Mark Sadowski attended UCLA’s event to scout the likes of LB Carson Schwesinger.
